We are a husband and wife team who have been married for over 34 years

I am Rob Hassett, an attorney in Atlanta, and I provide legal services in the corporate, technology, and entertainment areas. I mostly represent creative people, many of whom have or will become very successful.

I spend most of my time setting up corporation and limited liability companies, including advising about and drafting shareholder agreements that involve intellectual property issues including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and right of privacy and pbulicity.

I have written articles and spoken on numerous occasions about my areas of practice. I was also co-author of the volume on Internet and Interactive media law of the leading treatise on entertainment industry contracts published by Lexis/Nexis.

I have taught classes in the professional Education Program at Georgia Tech, and am currently General Counsel of the Georgia Game Developers Association and the Co-Chair of the annual Investment Day at SIEGE.

Recently, I built a flowchart to illustrate the new tax deductions for pass-through businesses. This was posted in Forbes, you can find the article here.

I am Lynn Hassett. Following my graduation from law school, I maintained a solo practice while raising my children. I handled cases in the areas of personal injury, family law, estate planning and estate administration. I also worked for Lexis, drafting case summaries for its online database.

I took a break from the law practice and started (and ended) two small businesses and became certified as an elementary school teacher.

I returned to law, working for an attorney who specialized in employment law and business litigation for about four years. As an independent contractor or employee, I have handled family law matters (including adoption and child support), misdemeanors (including traffic related issues) and probate.

I have helped Rob out from time to time in his practice and am happy to join him on a full-time basis.
